Curb Appeal – First Impressions Sell!

What is it about spring that gets us all out in our gardens, whistling while we work, and yes, visiting the paint store?... Do you think it's because everything outside looks new and clean and homeowners want the inside to look as good? Probably that's true, but perhaps it's because we need more colour in our lives especially after a harsh winter such as we have just had. All winter we have just seen white (snow) brown (dormant grass and trees). We need a lift and nothing lifts us more than NEW PAINT.

Green Solutions to Staging. I have severe allergies, especially to dog and cat dander and odors. Perfumes and hair spray are also torture to me.

This gorgeous 4 bedroom home took several days to stage and a team of 3 people. The homeowners are very motivated and were open to any and all suggestions given to them. The before and after pictures speak for themselves, what a remarkable transformation.

During the consultation we discussed changing the light fixtures, removing the worn carpeting, painting the main floor using staging safe colours and bringing in contemporary furnishings artwork and accessories. Hope Designs set the stage so that buyers could envision themselves living in the home. Staging worked and the SOLD sign went up!
