Originally a stable at the turn of the century, a young couple purchased the home in 2006 and renovated it. During their time living there, the previous owners updated the kitchen and bathrooms, and added a full second storey. The only components that remain from the original decor are the exposed beams and bricks, and the stained glass window on the main level of the home.
With condo prices in the neighbourhood commanding $350,000 and up, it seemed tough to find anyone who would be willing to fork over over $1 million in an area that’s got absolutely nothing to compare the 2-storey home with. And considering the fact that 122 Niagara St only has a teeny backyard on its small lot, this was an obstacle for the sellers and their agents.

The property was originally listed at $1.298 million, and ended up selling for $1.236 million.
